Surf lessons in Hossegor, Seignosse and Capbreton are held in small groups or private sessions led by Mike, a state-certified instructor since 2005.
Off-season, we take our time.
Fewer people, more space, more personalized surf sessions to reconnect with the ocean and progress at your own pace.
The Social Surf Minibus can pick you up from your accommodation and take you to the most suitable surf spot around Hossegor, Seignosse and Capbreton. In summer, sessions start directly from our surf hut, a typical Landes beach hut facing the ocean.

Is it a traditional surf school?
The Social Surf Experience is not a traditional surf school.
Every surf lesson is designed as a tailor-made experience, adapted to your level, your goals and the ocean conditions.
Unlike a traditional surf school, the approach is:
- more human
- more personalized
- more committed
Whether you are a beginner or advanced, with family, in a group, or solo, with or without specific needs (disability, fear of water, returning after a break), each session is fully adapted to you.

Do you need to know how to swim already?
Yes, knowing how to swim is a plus for participating in a surf session.
Sessions take place in the ocean, in a supervised and safe environment where participants can stand. A minimum level of confidence in the water is still required.
How long does a session last?
A surf session lasts about 2 hours in total. Slightly longer in the off-season.
This time includes:
- the welcome and discussion before the session
- the surf lesson in the water
- the feedback and debrief after the activity
The practice in the water usually lasts around 90 minutes, allowing for real immersion and quality progression.
Our two-hour surf sessions are designed to give you the time to learn, progress and truly enjoy the experience.

Surf sessions mainly take place on the Landes coast, between Hossegor, Seignosse and Capbreton.
In the off-season, minibus transfers allow adapting to the best surf conditions and accessing the most suitable surf spots.
Sessions can also extend to the Basque Country depending on conditions and your project.
